SCHP Community visits held across Sydney

As part of the service that the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) provides for participants residing locally in Sydney, we were pleased to see our current enrolees visit the four Community Centres across Sydney in July 2019.

SCHP current participants who attended the Community Centres gained a lot of insight shared from presenters on child health cases, clinical approach to diagnosing and treating children and young adults.

Here is a photo taken at one of the centres – Auburn Community Health Centre (CHC).  We greatly acknowledge the three presenters – Zoe Cheng, GP Liaison Nurse, Nancy Mangalaraj, Occupational Therapist (top far left) and Alejandro Co, Senior Counsellor, Child and Family Health.

We apologise that we couldn’t capture photos from other three community centres.

Thank you to all attendees and presenters including those that presented at :
-    Child and Family Health Service, RNS Community Health Centre, St Leonards
-    Croydon Child, Adolescent & Family Health Services and Disability Specialist Unit, Croydon
-    Sydney Children’s Community Health Centre and Tumbatin Developmental Clinic, Randwick

We gratefully acknowledge all the Community Centres for the valuable support to our participants as well as organising local presenters to share their experiences on various child health issues.

We hope to encourage more NSW participants to experience this unique opportunity that we offer annually to all current enrolees.
